When the Pre-Baby Jeans Fit Better Than They Did Pre-Baby

There’s something incredibly satisfying about slipping into my pre-baby jeans and realizing they fit even better now than they did before I found out I was pregnant. And the best part? My routine has been completely non-restrictive.
As a new mom, it’s easy to feel triggered when you see someone else getting their spark back or fitting back into their jeans while you’re still navigating the postpartum fog. But I’m here to share four simple and implementable habits that have helped me find my way back to the light after baby number two. Let’s dive in!

1. Prioritize Protein
I’ve made it a priority to consume 1 gram of protein for every pound of my body weight. Initially, this felt challenging, but I found that swapping out my breakfast and lunch for a high-protein, nutrient-dense smoothie has made all the difference. Additionally, I make sure that every snack I grab is also higher in protein. This shift has not only helped me feel fuller but has also contributed to my overall energy levels.
2. No Alcohol
In this postpartum season, I’ve realized that alcohol equals anxiety for me. I simply don’t have the time for that, nor do I find the little buzz worth it.
